STOURBRIDGE TUESDAY LEAGUE 13TH JUN 2023
The Stourbridge Tuesday Football League continued with its third week of matches and saw some exciting results in all four divisions.
In the Premier League division, 'Hold That FC' defeated 'Lenton Orient' 2-0, while 'Yatesys VI' fell to 'Murder on Zidanes Floor' 3-1. 'The Galacticos' also suffered a loss, falling 4-2 to 'Any Chance'.
Meanwhile, in Division 1, 'Six Offenders FC' lost 6-2 to 'Swanky FC', 'Lenton Orient B' defeated 'Gangsters Allardyce' 4-1 and 'Stourbridge Olympic' were brilliant winners against 'Gary Neville is a Legend'.
In Division 2, 'Balotelli-Tubbies' came out on top with a 2-1 win against 'Genoa-cide', while 'Pena FC' fell to 'HAS Bins' 3-1 and 'Lads on Toure' narrowly defeated 'Inter The Wagon' 3-2.
In Division 3, 'Any Holes a Goal' and 'FC Resonance' played out a great game that finished 1-1, 'Saka Potatoes' drew 3-3 with 'I Only Put Matip In', and 'BdEx Boys' defeated 'Innocent Till Proven Gylfi' 4-0 to keep chasing the top spot after week four.
With their and going top of the Premier League 'Hold That FC' are our team of the week. After a great win the are a point clear at the top going into a fantastic head to head clash against last seasons champions 'The Galacticos', who will come out on top?
The Stourbridge Tuesday League will continue with the fourth week of matches next Tuesday, and fans can expect to see more intense action on the field.
