WOLVERHAMPTON SUNDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 6th FEBRUARY 22

All the latest news for the Wolverhampton Sunday 6-a-side League direct from Khalsa Academy.

A great evening of football played by all teams with plenty of tight affairs and great goals which entertained all teams on the evening, this also included all expected teams in attendance as expected.

Game of the week was played between two sides which was ending to end for the whole of the game. This was between ‘BXLLERS CLXB’ and ‘Red Terror V6’ despite the teams being in very different positions in the table both teams put out an excellent fight and showed no complacency. The full-time result ended in a 3-2 victory for ‘Red Terror V6’ over ‘BXLLERS CLXB’ however it showed that they have much potential to improve by pushing a top of the table team into a close contest. This also shows how competitive this league currently is and the close margins which can separate teams. Next week we see ‘Red Terror V6’ in a top of the table clash against ‘KFC Munchers’ which will be a close game that nobody can predict the score of, after 'KFC Munchers' lost their first game of the season this week.

The team of the week is awarded to ‘ZeroTolerance' as they gained their 3rd victory of the season as they beat 'Warstones FC' which could be an important victory for them going forward in the season. It was an excellent game for all of their players as they grouped together to gain a big victory over potential rivals. 'ZeroTolerance' now look forward to their game next week against 'Angry Birds FC' which they will have to be in similar form to win.
